E2B

E2B Gives AI Agents Secure Computers with Real-World Tools. E2B is Used by 88% of Fortune 100 Companies for Frontier Agentic Workflows

E2B provides isolated cloud machines for AI agents, so developers can give an agent a sandbox where it runs code, browses, uses tools, pauses and forks. The company's pitch is that you ship the agent and it runs the infrastructure.

Each sandbox is a full-isolation environment that starts at container speed, built on Firecracker microVMs with no shared kernel. Sandboxes can be created from snapshots, and the homepage demo shows an agent writing files, running tests, building and deploying inside one, plus other sandboxes running data migrations, spreadsheet reconciliation and backtests. E2B runs in its own cloud or in your AWS or GCP account with the same API, and an enterprise offering adds private VPC deployment with controlled ingress and blocked egress. The site frames it as a place to build and train any agent.

Filed under education in this directory with tags for AI agents and code assistants, E2B is really developer infrastructure. The site has a pricing page, a sign-up option and a book-a-demo path, but plan details are not shown on the homepage. Start by creating a sandbox from the CLI and letting your agent execute code inside it.
