MoneyCounter

Count banknotes by denomination in 78 currencies on Windows

MoneyCounter is a Windows 10/11 app for counting banknotes by denomination. Pick one of 78 built-in currencies, enter how many notes of each value you have and read the total on a large seven-segment display that updates as you type.

Each count can be saved to a history with the date, currency, a comment and the number of notes of each denomination, so it is easy to see later how a cash balance was made up, for example when closing the till, handing over a club treasury or comparing shifts. Backup and restore are built into the File menu.

Everything is stored locally and the app works offline; the free edition needs no account. The interface is available in 16 languages.

Free with no time limit (totals up to six digits, the smallest note of each currency hidden). Pro costs USD 19 once: all notes, a ten-digit display, custom currencies and denominations.
