SiteExplainer
Unveil website essence swiftly with AI-powered, jargon-free summaries
Paste a URL into SiteExplainer and it fetches the page, then returns a short plain-English explanation of what the site actually is and does, stripped of marketing jargon. It is meant for confusing landing pages where the product is hard to identify from the copy.
Every explanation is saved as a permanent, shareable page at a path based on the original URL, so the first request generates the summary and later visits are served from cache. You can skip the form entirely by typing the site's address directly after the SiteExplainer domain, and a Surprise me button picks a page for you. The code is on GitHub, with a link to star the repository.
Filed here under education and research, SiteExplainer is free to use. It is handy for researchers, students or anyone comparing tools who wants a quick answer before reading a full landing page; try one of the example sites on the homepage to see the output format.
