Twistly turns a topic, block of text, or uploaded file into a ready-to-edit slide deck for anyone building presentations directly inside Microsoft PowerPoint. From a browser, it offers the same core generation without needing Office installed, while the full feature set, custom brand templates, a speaker notes generator, a PPT translator, an image generator, and converters that turn PDF, Word, or plain text files into slides, becomes available inside the PowerPoint add-in itself.

The tool targets students, teachers, marketers, sales teams, and HR teams who need to turn source material into presentable slides quickly, and it also offers free tools such as PowerPoint templates and background images outside the main add-in. Twistly reports more than three million users and holds a 4.7 out of 5 rating from reviewers on Microsoft's AppSource. It sits in the directory's presentations category, with translation and image-generation features layered on top of the core slide builder.

Twistly can be started for free, with a subscription required for the full add-in experience, putting it in the freemium category. Anyone building decks from scratch, translated content, or existing documents can try generating a presentation on the Twistly site before adding it to PowerPoint.
