Baseten serves and scales open-source, custom and fine-tuned AI models on an inference platform built for production. It provides model runtimes, cross-cloud high availability and developer workflows built on what it calls the Baseten Inference Stack, and it can run in Baseten's cloud or your own. Dedicated inference handles high-scale workloads on infrastructure purpose-built for performance.

Pre-optimized Model APIs let you test new workloads, prototype and evaluate the latest models without setup, and a model library lists what is available. Teams can also train models with reinforcement learning through the Loops SDK and deploy them to inference on the same stack, and model labs can distribute and monetize their models on Baseten's infrastructure. The site lists customers such as Cursor, Notion, HubSpot, Descript and Gamma, and notes that Blaxel is joining Baseten.
