Infield
Automate upgrades, manage dependencies, minimize risks
Infield helps engineering teams upgrade open source dependencies safely by combining automation with a team of expert developers. It connects to your code through a GitHub app or the Infield CLI, syncing dependencies from your local environment or CI pipeline.
From there, Infield calculates a living upgrade plan that weighs risk, effort and the tangle of direct and indirect dependencies, so you review a backlog instead of guessing what to upgrade next. It picks up where scanners leave off: beyond detecting new versions, it researches changelogs, flags undocumented changes and supplies fixes for breaking changes. You can then hand the tedious upgrade work to Infield's white-glove service or use a software-only plan to do it yourself with their tooling. The directory lists it under Project Management, but the work it manages is dependency maintenance for engineering teams.
Infield is a paid service with a one-month free trial. Connect a repository, review the generated upgrade backlog and decide whether you want the service or the software plans.
